1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Search Engine Optimization & Advertising, Inc. (“BothAnswer,” “we,” “us”) handles information for BothAnswer.com (the “Service”). We keep this policy short and plain. By using the Service, you agree to it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what the Service needs to work: the email address you provide, your name if you choose to give one, and the answers you submit during a session. We also collect basic technical information that most websites receive automatically, such as device and browser type and general usage data, to keep the Service running and secure. We do not ask for and do not want information beyond what the Service requires.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the Service: to create your account, pair you with the person you invite or who invites you, compare the answers you and that person choose to submit, show results once you have both finished, send you Service-related messages such as confirmations and links, and maintain the security and reliability of the platform. We do not use your answers for advertising.
4. Your Answers and Your Partner
The Service works by comparing two people’s answers. When you complete a session, the person paired with you in that session will be able to see your answers to that session once you have both finished. That is the purpose of the Service, and by completing a session you agree to it. We are not responsible for how the other person uses or shares what they see. Before both people finish, we do not show your individual answers to the other person.
5. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your answers. We do not show you third-party advertising based on your answers, and we do not use your answers to train systems for anyone else. We share information only with the limited service providers that help us run the Service (described below) and only as needed for that purpose.
6. Service Providers
We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to operate the Service, such as hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing providers. These providers process information only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Payments, if any, are handled by a third-party processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
7. AI Features
Some features may generate written summaries or suggestions using artificial intelligence. When we use these features, we send only the limited information needed to produce the result, in a form that identifies people only as participants in a session rather than by name. AI output is generated for your use within the Service and is not used to build advertising profiles.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will delete it except where we are required to keep certain records by law. When you delete your account, the copies of your answers used for comparison are removed.
9. Security
We protect your answers with encryption. Each answer is individually encrypted using AES-256-GCM before it is stored, and the encryption keys are kept separately from the stored answer data, so your answers are not readable from our stored data alone. Because the Service must compare and display answers in order to work, our systems can access answer content while providing the Service, and we limit that access to operating the platform. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard the information you entrust to us.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You can decline to answer any question, and you can stop using the Service at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor those rights as required.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date below, and your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
