Your half, first.

These are the real 49 questions. You'll answer them just for yourself now and see your own profile by area — there's no compatibility score here, because a score takes two people. BothAnswer isn't open to the public yet. When it launches, you'll invite your partner to answer the same questions on their own — and you'll both see how your answers compare at the same time.

Your answers stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How these questions were built

These aren't icebreakers. They're aimed at the conversations couples tend to postpone until they're already deeply invested — money and debt, what counts as cheating, whether the relationship reorganizes around children, who relocates for whose career, how aging parents get cared for. The subjects that quietly decide whether two lives fit.

They're compared for real compatibility, not matching. Two people don't have to give identical answers to be aligned — “leaning yes” and “definitely yes” about children aren't the same as yes and no. Some questions go further and compare what one person needs against what the other is willing to give, because that's where compatibility actually lives.

They draw on established relationship-psychology concepts — attachment, conflict styles, emotional needs, boundaries — without pretending to be a clinical test. There's no lab coat here. The questions come from a simple conviction, learned the hard way: it's kinder to find out early. To be clear, this is a conversation tool, not a diagnosis — it will never tell you to stay or leave.
